Steven Spielburgs ‘The Pacific’ campaign
Black Cannes Lion, Asia Spikes Grand Prix, Clio, One Show

‘The Pacific’ is a show about the stories of soldiers who fought in the Pacific during WWII, a war that effected many New Zealanders.

In order to make these stories resonate with the public, residents received real letters in the mail, written by soldiers during the war. A mural was created of letters so passersby could stop, read and take them away. Lastly we staged a dogfight in the city harbor, so people could see first hand what went into being a pilot during this war.

The effect of the campaign created one of the most successful show launches in the countries history and brought forth a renewed respect for the soldiers who fought in this war.
